Why Ledgerwise

Structured Knowledge, Thoughtful Delivery

Good financial education does not require pressure — it requires structure, context, and a patient approach. Here is what shapes the way we teach.

Educator-Led Curriculum

Every programme is developed in consultation with practising educators, not just finance professionals. The result is content that communicates clearly across different levels of prior knowledge.

Vendor-Neutral Approach

No products are sold during or after our sessions. Participants receive unbiased information and frameworks they can apply independently, without commercial pressure.

Singapore-Specific Content

From CPF mechanics to MediShield Life and HDB considerations, our programmes are grounded in local financial structures rather than imported generic models.

Small Group Settings

Sessions are kept to a manageable size so that facilitators can respond to individual questions. Learning finance with space to ask is markedly different from watching a recorded lecture.

Practical Tools Included

Participants leave with working materials — needs-analysis calculators, personalised income models, finance journals — that remain useful long after the programme concludes.

Scheduled for Real Life

Programme structures are designed around working adults and students — with session lengths and scheduling options that fit alongside existing commitments.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are these programmes designed for?
Each programme addresses a distinct life stage. The teen and young adult programme is for participants aged 15 to 21. The insurance planning service suits working adults who want clarity on their existing coverage or gaps. The retirement income programme is most relevant for individuals within 5 to 15 years of their intended retirement date.
Is any financial product sold during these sessions?
No. Ledgerwise operates as an educational provider, not a licensed financial adviser or insurance broker. No products are recommended, sold, or linked to during or after any programme. The intent is to improve your capacity to evaluate your own options independently.
How are sessions delivered — in person or online?
Both options are available depending on the programme and cohort size. In-person sessions are held at our office at One George Street. Online sessions use a standard video-conferencing platform. You are welcome to enquire about your preferred format when you get in touch.
What does the programme fee cover?
Programme fees cover all scheduled sessions, all accompanying materials (journals, calculators, planning models), and any included personalised reviews or annual access where specified. There are no hidden follow-up charges.
How long does it take to see a return on the investment of time?
This varies considerably by individual circumstances. What participants consistently report is that they leave with a clearer mental model of their financial situation — and that this clarity tends to reduce the anxiety and inertia that often delay sound financial decisions. The value is primarily in the reduction of costly mistakes and the confidence to act thoughtfully.
Can I enrol a family member or a small group from my organisation?
Yes. Family enrolments are welcome, and we have delivered programmes to small workplace teams and community groups. Corporate or group enquiries can be directed through our contact form or by calling us directly — we are happy to discuss scheduling and group pricing where applicable.
What prior knowledge is expected?
None of our programmes assume prior financial knowledge. The teen programme begins from foundational concepts. The insurance and retirement programmes assume a basic familiarity with everyday finances but no professional background. If you are uncertain, reach out and we will help you identify the right starting point.
